1966 Fender Blackface Vibrolux Reverb Excellent Picture(s) and Description:

1966

1966 Vibrolux Reverb. This amp has been used regularly over the years and never abused. It has all of the original caps and i have been careful to fire it up at least once a week so that none of the caps have dried out. It sounds awsome. It is all original except the three prong power cord (i have the original and will include it) and the reverb can. It has that beautiful gloss nickle chasis and all of the original caps, resistors and everything else in there. There is no rust anywhere and the transformer leaves are perfect with no oxidation or rust. The paper label is excellent with no tears. As an aside, it is labeled OA which would mean January of 65. But in 66 they forgot to buy a new stamp so they stamped early January 66 as OA in Green ink instead of black. Matching Jensen speaker codes which have the origianal cones and sound awsome. There are very few marks in the tolex and none that come close to going through the wood. The grill cloth has no snags in it either. The original cover is in pretty good shape and the logo is clear and well defined. This is the pinacle of blackface tone and in a package that has been well loved.
